About Me

I am a 1L attending John Marshall Law School in Chicago. I attended the University of Texas at Austin for my undergraduate degree in government. I worked for Apple for a year, interned at The Governor's Office of Texas and was a babysitter for four awesome families in Texas for three years. I make mention of this because I most likely will reference these experiences in my blog posts. 

I created this blog mainly for my family and friends who I hope will read it as I embark on a new journey to a far away city. I was born and raised in Austin, Texas and I am extremely excited to get my feet wet doing something i've never done before: move away from Austin.

Some interesting facts about me: I studied abroad in Santander, Spain. I own a Nintendo Wii and play it religiously. I love sushi, especially the restaurant owned by Tyson Cole named Uchi. I know a little bit of French, enough to get me by in probably any French-speaking country. I don't like most vegetables, except for baby spinach. Despite my pickiness, some of my favorite foods include some of the strangest: hummus, spinach, sushi and goat cheese. I've never been to South America, despite my mother living in Brazil for quite sometime. I'm allergic to sunscreen, most moisturizers, blue dye, and most shellfish.
